প্রশ্ন : Leave এ Prefixing এবং Suffixing কী ?

উত্তর : CL ছাড়া যে কোনো ছুটির ক্ষেত্রে Prefixing or Suffixing আছে। অর্থ‌াৎ CL ছাড়া যে কোনো leave এর আগে বা পরে যদি কোনো sunday ; holiday বা vacation থাকে তাহলে তা বাদ যাবে। কিন্তু আপনার leave এর মাঝে যদি sunday ; holiday বা vacation পরে তাহলে সেটাকে leave এর মধ্যেই ধরা হবে।

যেমন ধরুন কোনো teacher maternity leave এ আছেন । দেখা গেলো summer vacation যে দিন পড়বে সেই দিনটি হলো তার ছুটির১৭৯ তম দিন । কিন্তু তিনি ১৮০ দিন maternity leave enjoy করতে পারবেন। এখানে দেখা যায় অনেকে ১৭৯ তম দিনেই join করে নেন। এটার প্রয়োজন নেই। কারন summer vacation কাটিয়ে যদি আপনি যেদিন প্রথম স্কুল খুলছে সেদিন join করেন তাহলে কোনো অসুবিধাই নেই কারন leave এর Suffixing এর জন্য summer vacation আপনার leave থেকে বাদ যাবে।
আবার দেখা যায় কোনো teacher 10দিনের জন্য commuted leave নিয়েছেন কিন্তু তার ছুটির ৭ দিনের মাথায় এমন গরম পড়লো,যে গরমের ছুটি ঘোষনা হয়ে গেলো তখন অনেকে চিন্তায় পড়ে যান । এক্ষেত্রে গরমের ছুটি enjoy করে প্রথম যেদিন স্কুল খুলবে সেদিন join করুন।

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the power conferred by Sub-section (1) of section 106 of the West Bengal Primary Education Act, 1973, (West Bengal Act XLIII of 1973) Governor is pleased hereby to make the following rules:-

RULES

1. Short Title
These rules may be called the West Bengal Primary Education (Leave of Teacher of Primary Schools) Rules, 1999 and shall come into force with effect from the date of notification.
2. Extent of Application
These rules are applicable to all the teachers of the Non-Government Primary Schools under the administrative
