প্রশ্ন: Miscarriage or abortion leave এর ব্যাখ্যা
উত্তর: যদি কোনো Female teacher রের সন্তান নষ্ট হয় তাহলে সেই Female teacher Miscarriage or abortion leave পাবেন। 45 দিন Miscarriage or abortion leave enjoy করতে পারবেন with full pay. এক্ষেত্রে Application করতে হবে DPSC এর Chairman or DI কে। তার সঙ্গে দিতে হবে Joining report I এছাড়া Miscarriage or abortion এর certificate I কটি Times জন্য এই Miscarriage or abortion leave পাবেন তা সঠিকভাবে এই order এ উল্লেখ নেই।
(b) Maternity Leave-
(i) Maternity leave may be granted to a female teacher on full pay for a period not exceeding 120 days* from the date of its commencement:
Provided that any other admissible leave may be granted in continuation of maternity leave if the request for such leave is supported by an appropriate medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.

(ii) Maternity leave may be granted to such female teacher on full pay not exceeding a period of 45 days in case of miscarriage or abortion if the request for such leave is supported by an appropriate medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.

MATERNITY LEAVE MAY ALSO BE GRANTED TO A FEMALE TEACHER OR A NON TEACHING EMPLOYEE IN CASE OF MISCARRIAGE OR ABORTION SUBJECT TO THE CONDITION THAT SUCH LEAVE SHALL NOT EXCEED SIX WEEKS AND THE APPLICATION FOR THE LEAVE IS SUPPORTED BY A CERTIFICATE FROM A REGISTERED MEDICAL PRACTITIONER OF A GOVT HOSPITAL.
