Why do
giraffe have such a long neck?

The giraffe’s long neck serves multiple purposes: it allows them to reach high foliage for food.
The giraffe’s neck, which can grow to as much as two metres in length, has been selected because it gives its owner exclusive access to the topmost leaves of the trees, and no other animal can reach them. This, then, is an adaptation designed to avoid competition for food with other animals.

*How flies feed food to its young*
Females do not care for or protect eggs. Females simply leave the eggs where they will be safe from predators and have plenty to eat upon hatching. The mother then tries to find a suitable source of nutrition in the environment, deposits the larvae and leaves them to survive on their own. The mother does not provide any nutrition for her young. That’s the standard fly way of life.
