1. Voting has concluded peacefully for the second and final phase of Assembly Elections in Jharkhand and single phase polling in Maharashtra. The Election Commission has said that Maharashtra has recorded more than 58 cent voter turnout and Jharkhand recorded around 68 per cent voting when reports last came in.
2. In Jharkhand, voting was held in 38 constituencies in 12 districts in the state. In Maharashtra, elections for all 288 seats were held in a single phase in the state.

According to the forecast, a cyclone is likely to develop over the Andaman Sea, south of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, on November 21, 2024. This system is expected to intensify between November 22 and 23, with a low-pressure area forming by November 23.

2. In Uttarakhand, the 11-day-long Air Force exercise began at Chinyalisaur Airport in Uttarkashi district. The exercise is scheduled to continue until the 28th of November. On the first day, the Air Force carried out landing and takeoff drills using its AN-32 multi-purpose transport aircraft.
3. Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Upendra Dwivedi, has embarked on a four-day visit to Nepal. The visit aims to strengthen military cooperation between the two militaries.
