প্রশ্ন: CL কী? এই ছুটি নেবার নিয়ম কী?
উত্তর: CL হলো Casual Leave;
CL নেবার শর্ত হলো Sunday; Holiday এবং working days মিলিয়ে যদি আপনার স্কুলে অনুপস্থিত দিন ৭ হয় এবং আপনি যদি অষ্টম
(৮) দিনে বিদ্যালয়ে যোগদান করেন তাহলে আপনার স্কুলে অনুপস্থিত দিনগুলির মধ্যে যেকটি working days সে কটি CL হিসাবে গন্য হবে।
উদাহরণ : ধরুন আপনি সোমবার স্কুলে এসে স্বাক্ষর
করে মঙ্গলবার থেকে ছুটি নিলেন এবং পরের সপ্তাহে মঙ্গলবারে এসে আপনি স্কুলে join করলেন। এক্ষেত্রে যদি ধরে নেওয়া যায় বৃহস্পতি ও শনিবার holiday ছিল।। এবার দেখুন আপনি সোমবারে স্কুলে এসেছিলেন মানে সোমবার বাদ দিলে working days হলো মঙ্গল; বুধ; শুক্র; সোম। আর holidays হলো বৃহস্পতি ও শনি; একটি রবিবার। তারমানে total আপনার অনুপস্থিত দিনগুলি হলো ৭ দিন। পরের মঙ্গলবারে join করা মানে ৮ নং দিনে join করা। তাহলে আপনার মোট 4 টি working days CL হিসাবে গন্য হবে।
গরমের ছুটি বা পূজার ছুটির আগে বা পরে CL নেওয়া যাবে না। কারন উক্ত ছুটি গুলি ৭ দিনের বেশী হয়।। একটা কথা মাথায় রাখবেন CL অনুমতি সাপেক্ষ। ইচ্ছা করলে SI আপনাকে CL মঞ্জুর নাও করতে পারেন ।

In exercise of the power conferred by Sub-section (1) of section 106 of the West Bengal Primary Education Act, 1973, (West Bengal Act XLIII of 1973) Governor is pleased hereby to make the following rules:-

1. Short Title
These rules may be called the West Bengal Primary Education (Leave of Teacher of Primary Schools) Rules, 1999 and shall come into force with effect from the date of notification.

These rules are applicable to all the teachers of the Non-Government Primary Schools under the administrative

The Primary teachers appointed substantively may be allowed the following kinds of leave:
(a) Casual Leave – Casual Leave for short period may be granted at the discretion of the sanctioning authority to a teacher on full pay for not more than 14 days during a calendar year but it shall not entail an absence of more than 7 consecutive days at a time, including Sundays and/or holidays, except under very special circumstances to be recorded in writing.
Provided that Sundays and/ or holidays preceding, following or intervening any period of casual leave shall not be counted as part of such leave.
