Pensioners whose basic pension plus dearness relief do not exceed the ceiling limit and who are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus, are paid ex-gratia grant in lump-sum.
· West Bengal Migrant Workers’ Welfare Scheme, 2023
Scheme for the Migrant Workers of West Bengal, who face different types of challenges in their course of employment which include death, accidental injury, medical emergency and other unwanted situations.
· Grant of Ex-Gratia Payment to State Govt. Pensioners, 2022-2023
Governor has been pleased to decide that all State Government Pensioners who are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia of Rs. 2,900/- (Rupees Two thousand Nine hundred) only in lump per head.
· Grant of Puja/ Eid Ex-Gratia Relief to all Workers under FAWLOI Scheme for 2022
Governor is pleased to grant a one time Puja/ Eid ex-gratia relief of a sum of Rs. 1500/- per head to all workers for the year 2022 who are covered under the scheme for ‘Financial Assistance to the Workers in Locked-out Industrial Units’ (FAWLOI) including those of the closed tea gardens.
· Bonus/ Ex-Gratia Grant to Employees of Public Undertakings, 2021-2022
Employees of the Undertakings/ Statutory Bodies may also be granted an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4,800/- per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31.03.2022 exceeded Rs. 10,000/- p.m. but did not exceed revised emoluments of Rs. 37,000/- p.m.
· Grant of Ex-Gratia Payment to State Govt. Pensioners, 2021-2022
Governor has been pleased to decide that all State Government Pensioners who are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia of Rs. 2,700/- (Rupees Two thousand Seven hundred) only in lump per head.
· Ex-gratia Payment @ Rs. 50,000/- per deceased for Covid-19 Death
Operational guidelines for the immediate payment of ex gratia at the rate of Rs. 50,000/- to the nearest kin of the deceased due to Covid-19.
· Ex-gratia Payment to Teaching/ Non-teaching Employees, 2021
Grant of Ex-gratia payment for the Financial Year 2020-2021 to the Pensioners of all the State-aided Colleges/ State-aided Non-Government Educational Institutions and other Govt. sponsored/ aided organizations of West Bengal.
· Ex-Gratia to Pensioners of State-Aided University, 2020-21
Grant of Ex-gratia payment for the Financial Year 2020-2021 to the Pensioners of all the State-aided Universities including the University BT & Evening College, Coochbehar under the administrative control of this Department and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.
· Grant of Ex-Gratia Payment to State Govt. Pensioners, 2020-2021
Governor has been pleased to decide that all State Government Pensioners whose basic pension plus Dearness Relief on pension as on 31st March 2021 did not exceed Rs. 31,000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,500/- only in lump per head.
· Bonus/ Ex-Gratia Grant to Employees of Public Undertakings, 2020-2021
Employees of the Public Undertakings who are not eligible to get Bonus/ Ex-gratia on account of their revised emoluments having been exceeded Rs. 10,000/- p.m. as on 31.03.2021 may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4500/- per head.
· Ex-Gratia in case of Death of People Lost at Sea or River
People lost at sea or river who have to be presumed dead due to sinking/capsize of boats/other vessels, where the bodies have not been recovered and chances of recovery of body within the State are remote due to accident in high seas or in inter-state/ international rivers.
· Ex-Gratia Payment to State Govt. Pensioners, 2019-2020
State Government Pensioners whose basic pension plus Dearness Relief on pension as on 31.03.2020 did not exceed Rs. 29,700/- only shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,200 only in lump per head.
· Bonus/ Ex-Gratia Grant to Employees of Public UT, 2019-2020
The employees of the Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4200/- per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31.03.2020 did not exceed Rs. 34250/- p.m.
· New Scheme “Prachesta” (প্রচেষ্টা) due to COVID-19 Outbreak
In order to provide some relief to labourer/ daily wage earner/ worker, who is in extreme distress, due to the outbreak of Corona Virus (COVID-19), the Governor is pleased to introduce a new scheme called “Prachesta” (প্রচেষ্টা).
· Financial Assistance to Distressed Workers of Locked Out Jute Industry etc.
Guidelines for providing financial assistance to the distressed workers of the locked out/ closed Jute/ Other Industry of the State of West Bengal where suspension of work have been imposed.
· SNEHER PARAS – Financial Assistance to Migrant Workers
A financial assistance of one-time exgratia payment of Rs. 1,000/- will be provided under the scheme to such worker who is residents of West Bengal and who is stranded in other parts of the country due to lockdown because of Corona Virus (COVID-19).
· Ex-Gratia to Pensioners of State-Aided University, 2018-19
Grant of Ex-gratia payment for the Financial Year 2018-19 to the Pensioners of all the State-aided Universities including the University BT & Evening College, Coochbehar under the administrative control of this Department and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.
· Ex-gratia Payment to West Bengal Govt. Pensioners, 2019
Governor has been pleased to decide that all State Government Pensioners whose basic pension plus Dearness relief on pension as on 31st March, 2019 did not exceed Rs. 26,000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,100/- only in lump per head.
· Bonus/ Ex-Gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2018-19
The employees of the Public Undertakings/ Statutory Bodies may be granted an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4,000/-per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31st March, 2019 exceeded Rs. 10,000/- per month but did not exceed Rs. 30,000/- per month.
· Ex-Gratia in case of Death due to Natural Calamity/ Accidental Fire
Ex-gratia grant @ 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only in each death case, to the next-of-kin(s) of the person who was killed as a result of Natural Calamity like Flood, Cyclone, Earthquake, Tornade, Hailstorm, Lightning etc. and anything directly or indirectly resulting from Natural Calamity.
· Jaladhara Scheme for Financial Assistance to replace Bhutbhuti
Governor is pleased to formulate and introduce a “scheme”, namely, “JALADHARA”, for extending financial assistance for replacement or conversion of the existing ‘BHUTBHUTI’s by safe and secure mechanically propelled boats in the interest of public safety.
· Ex-Gratia to Pensioners of State-Aided University, 2017-18
Pensioners whose basic pension plus dearness relief on pension as on 31.03.2018 did not exceed Rs. 25,000/- are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,000/- per head.
· Ex-gratia Payment to West Bengal Govt. Pensioners, 2018
Pensioners whose basic pension plus dearness relief on pension as on 31.03.2018 did not exceed Rs. 25000/- and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2000/-
· Bonus/ Ex-Gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2017-18
An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,800/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 28,000/- per month.
· Appeal to Employers for Payment of Bonus/ Ex-Gratia
Government expects that the employers in the unorganized sectors shall also pay bonus/ex-gratia to their workers before commencement of Durga Puja, 2017.
· Ex-Gratia to Pensioners of Non-Govt. Colleges, 2017
Grant of Ex-gratia payment to the pensioners of Non-Govt. Colleges, Day Students’ Homes and West Bengal College Service Commission for the year 2017.
· Ex-Gratia to Pensioners of State-Aided University, 2016-17
Teaching and Non-Teaching Pensioners of State-aided Universities who are not eligible for ad-hoc Bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 1,900/- only in lump per head.
· Ex-gratia Payment to West Bengal Govt. Pensioners, 2017
Pensioners whose basic pension plus relief did not exceed Rs. 25000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 1900/- only in lump per head.
· Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2016-17
An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,600/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 26,000/- per month.
· SOMOBYATHI – Financial Assistance for Cremation/ Burial
To provide a financial assistance of Rs. 2000/- for performing rites and rituals and to meet incidental expenses related to cremation/ burial of the deceased person.
· Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2015-16
An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,500/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 25,000/- per month.
· Ex-Gratia to Pensioners of State-Aided University, 2014-15
Grant of Ex-gratia payment to the Pensioners of various state-aided Universities including the University BT & Evening College, Coochbehar under the administrative control of this Department and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.
· Ex-gratia Payment to West Bengal Govt. Pensioners, 2015
Pensioners whose basic pension plus relief did not exceed Rs. 24000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 1700/- only in lump per head.
· Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2014-15
Employees of Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,200/- per head provided their emoluments did not exceed Rs. 24,000/- per month.
· Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2013-14
Employees of Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,000/- per head provided their revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22,000/- per month.
· Ex-gratia Payment to West Bengal Govt. Pensioners, 2013
Pensioners whose basic pension plus relief did not exceed Rs. 22000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 1000/- only in lump per head.
· Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2012-13
Employees of Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,600/- per head provided their revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22,000/- per month.
· Ex-gratia Payment to Teaching/ Non-teaching Employees, 2012
Grant of ex-gratia payment to the Pensioners/ family pensioners of the teaching and non-teaching employees of Non-Govt. Aided/ Sponsored Educational Institutions etc. for the year 2012.
· Ex-gratia Payment to West Bengal Govt. Pensioners, 2012
Pensioners whose basic pension plus relief did not exceed Rs. 22000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 900/- only in lump per head.
· Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2011-12
Employees of Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,500/- per head provided their revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22,000/- per month.
· Financial Assistance to the Clubs of Government Employees
No application for grant from the Clubs running concurrently at the same premises or building or at the same station will be ordinarily considered. If there are more than one Clubs at the same premises/ buildings/ stations attempts should therefore be made coordinate themselves for the purpose of receiving grants.
· Funeral Expense to Family Member of Deceased Employee
In case of death of a Govt. employee an amount of Rs. 250 may be paid as financial relief in shape of funeral expenses to the family member of a Government employee.
· Ex-gratia Payment to West Bengal Govt. Pensioners, 2011
Basic pension plus Relief did not exceed Rs. 20000/- only not eligible for bonus, they shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 800/- only in lump per head.
· Scheme for Financial Assistance to the Workers in Locked Out Industrial Units
Governor has been pleased to introduce a scheme viz. “Scheme for Financial Assistance to the Workers in Locked out Industrial Units (FAWLOI)” with effect from 01.04.1998.
