You are requested to communicate all the schools under the control of WBBSE to follow the Holistic Progress Report Card (HPC) and keep record of every student in the new Holistic Progress Report Card from this academic year.

Regarding Holistic Progress Report Card

Our Commissioner of School Education Sir has issued order vide No. 249TBC, Dated 11.06.2024 regarding Holistic Progress Report Card introducing from current Academic year.

Subsequently the W.B.B.S.E. issued Notification vide No DS(Aca)/216, Dated 21.06.2024 in respect of same Holistic Progress Report Card which effects from this current year.

Relevant Order and Notification have been issued by the Respected Higher Authority. So no question of adherence of previous years norms.

Yes in Banglar Shikha Portal, Marks distribution is not changed consistent with the issued orders. Marks distribution in Banglar Shikha Portal ( 15 to 30 and 25 to 50) may be rectified any time.

So both the Order and Notification have to be followed.

Introduction of Holistic Progress Report Card (HPC) for students studying in classes VI to VIII

Dear Sir/Madam,

In compliance with the letter vide Memo No. 249-TBC/2A/46P/2023 dated 11.06.2024 of the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal, Directorate of School Education (Text Book Section), Bikash Bhavan, 7th floor, Salt Lake, Kolkata-91, the undersigned is directed to notify for all concerned to introduce Holistic Progress Report Card for students studying in classes VI to VIII from this academic year to keep records of 360⁰ Holistic progress of each student.

The Heads of all the Institutions under WBBSE have to follow Holistic Progress Report Card (HPC) and keep record of every student in the new Holistic Progress Report Card from this academic year. The Holistic Progress Report Card should be filled up from this year onwards and however to be from the extant class location of every student of the school, at present.

Implementation of Holistic Progress Report Card in 2025

• সকল বিদ্যালয়ের প্রত্যেক ছাত্র-ছাত্রীর 360° Holistic Progress এর জন্য Class-I থেকে Class-VIII পর্যন্ত এই Report Card প্রস্তূত করতে হবে। 

• এটি শ্রেণী কক্ষে নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যে বিভিন্ন Activities গুলোর Collective Evidence এর ভিত্তিতে তৈরি একটি শিশুর Progress (উন্নতি) হওয়ার Comprehensive Report Card. এটি একটি (Continuous Process) ধারাবাহিক পদ্ধতি।

• এই Holistic Progress Report Card আগামী শিক্ষাবর্ষ-2025 থেকে কার্যকর হবে। 

Development of Personality & Life Skills

• Holistic Progress এর শুরুতেই প্রথম থেকে অষ্টম শ্রেণীতে পাঠরত প্রতিটি ছাত্র /ছাত্রীর Development of Personality & Life Skills (ব্যক্তিত্ব ও জীবনশৈলীর বিকাশ) এর ওপর ধারাবাহিক মূল্যায়ন করতে হবে। এক্ষেত্রে সর্বমোট 15 টি Indicator এর ওপর ভিত্তি করে উত্তীর্ণ হওয়ার ছাত্র /ছাত্রীর Grade বসাতে হবে। মানে, প্রতিটি ছাত্র /ছাত্রীর Grade লিখতে Class Wise যেমন: Class-I, Class-II, Class-III, Class-IV, Class-V, Class-VI, Class-VII এবং Class-VIII. Development of Personality & Life Skills (ব্যক্তিত্ব ও জীবনশৈলীর বিকাশ) এর 15-টি Identified Condition বা Indicator হলো-

1. Listening Skill (শ্রবণ দক্ষতা)

   2. Communication Skill (সংযোগের দক্ষতা)

   3. Empathy Skill (সমানুভূতির দক্ষতা)

   4. Co-operation Skill (সহযোগিতার দক্ষতা)

   5. Conversation Skill (কথোপকথনের দক্ষতা)

   6. Friendship Skill (বন্ধুত্ব স্থাপনের দক্ষতা)

   7. Conflict Resolution /Problem Solving Skills (দ্বন্দ্ব নিরসন / সমস্যা সমাধানে দক্ষতা)

   8. Stress Coping Skills (মানসিক চাপ মোকাবিলা করার দক্ষতা)

   9. Decision Making Skill (সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণের দক্ষতা)

   10. Interpersonal Skill (পারস্পরিক সম্পর্ক রক্ষার দক্ষতা)

   11. Organisational Skill (সাংগঠনিক দক্ষতা)

   12. Emotion Control Skill (আবেগ নিয়ন্ত্রণের দক্ষতা)

   13. Respect Skill (শ্রদ্ধা জ্ঞাপনের দক্ষতা)

   14. Assertiveness Skill / Positive Attitude (দৃঢ় মত প্রকাশের দক্ষতা / ইতিবাচক মনোভাব)

   15. Leadership (নেতৃত্বদান)

Grade of Development of Personality & Life Skills

মার্কশিটে গ্রেড বসানোর সময় ক, খ, গ, ঘ কিংবা A, B, C, D বসাতে হবে। 

A – Very Good (ক-খুব ভাল)

B- Good (খ-ভাল)

C – Satisfactory (গ-সন্তোষজনক)

D – Requires more development (ঘ-আরও উন্নতি প্রয়োজন)

Type of Evaluation in Holistic Progress

• আগের মতোই এই Evaluation কে দু’ভাগে ভাগ করা হয়েছে। যথা-জ্ঞানগঠনকালীন মূল্যায়ন বা Formative Evaluation ও পর্যায়ক্রমিক মূল্যায়ন বা Summative Evaluation.

• পূর্বের মতোই Formative Evaluation এর তিনটি Phase আছে,যেমন–

            1st Formative Phase

          2nd Formative Phase
          3rd Formative Phase

• এখন প্রতিটি Formative Phase-কে আবার তিনটি ভাগে ভাগ করা হয়েছে,যেমন-

1st Formative Phase এর F1A, F1B, F1C অর্থাৎ Formative 1A, Formative 1B এবং Formative 1C 

2nd Formative Phase এর F2A, F2B, F2C অর্থাৎ Formative 2A, Formative 2B এবং Formative 2C

3rd Formative Phase এর F3A, F3B, F3C অর্থাৎ Formative 3A, Formative 3B এবং Formative 3C 

• আর Summative Evaluation এর ক্ষেত্রে আগে যেরকম ছিল সেরকমই আছে। 

      1st Summative Evaluation

      2nd Summative Evaluation 

      3rd Summative Evaluation 

• প্রাক-প্রাথমিক অর্থাৎ শিশু শ্রেণীতে কোনরূপ Evaluation থাকছে না।

Month of Formative Evaluation & Marks entry in SMS Portal

• Formative Evaluation একটি ধারাবাহিক পদ্ধতি। তাই প্রতিটি ক্লাসে (I থেকে VIII) একটি Academic Year এর প্রতি মাসে প্রতিটি বিষয়ের ওপর একটি করে Formative Evaluation করত হবে। এইভাবে বছরে সর্বমোট নয় (09)বার Formative Evaluation করতে হবে। অর্থাৎ জানুয়ারী, ফেব্রুয়ারি, মার্চ /মে, জুন, জুলাই/সেপ্টেম্বর, অক্টোবর, নভেম্বর মাসে Formative Evaluation করতে হবে অপরদিকে এপ্রিল, আগস্ট, ডিসেম্বর মাসে SMS Portal এ Marks entry এর কাজ করতে হবে।

• Formative Evaluation সাধারনত প্রতি মাসের 3rd Week এ করতে হবে আর 4th Week এ Remedial Class Teaching শেষ করতে হবে।

• প্রথম ও দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণীর ক্ষেত্রে বিষয় /বিষয়নাম গুলি পরিবর্তিত হয়েছে।এখন থেকে 1st Language, 2nd Language, Mathematics, Art & Work Education, Health & Physical Education (পূর্বের মতো- Ability in Communicate, Ability in Correlate, Ability in Problem Solving, Ability in Mental & Physical Coordination বিষয়গুলো থাকছে না)। এছাড়া Formative Evaluation এর 20 Marks কে দুই ভাগেভাগ করা হয়েছে। 10 Marks এর Art & Work Education এবং 10 Marks এর Health & Physical Education.

Formative Evaluation Indicator for Holistic Progress

Formative Evaluation Indicator দুই প্রকারের, যথা-
(a.) Learning Perspective of Cognitive Domain (শিখনের বৌদ্ধিক দক্ষতার ক্ষেত্রসমূহ)
(b.) Behavioural Cognitive Outcomes (আচরণে বৌদ্ধিক ক্ষেত্রের প্রকাশসমূহ)

 Learning Perspective of Cognitive Domain

• প্রথম থেকে অষ্টম শ্রেণীতে Learning Perspective of Cognitive Domain এর 7-টি Identified Condition বা Indicator আছে। যার মাধ্যমে ছাত্রছাত্রীদের এই Evaluation হবে। Evaluation এর Progress মার্কশিটের 1st Formative Phase (F1A, F1B, F1C), 2nd Formative Phase (F2A, F2B, F22C) এবং 3rd Formative Phase (F3A, F3B, F3C) তে লিপিবদ্ধ করতে হবে। এই 7-টি Identified Condition বা Indicator হলো-

1. Pattern of Intelligence (বুদ্ধিমত্তার বৈচিত্র্য)

   2. Area of Interest (আগ্রহের ক্ষেত্র)

   3. Positive Attitude (মনোভাব)

   4. Exceptional Ability (ব্যতিক্রমী দক্ষতা)

   5. Features of Anxiety (উদ্বেগের বৈশিষ্ট্যসমূহ)

   6. Learning Gaps (শিখনে অপূর্ণতা)

   7. Specific Learning Difficulties (বিশেষ শিখন প্রতিবন্ধকতা)

Behavioural Cognitive Outcomes

• প্রথম থেকে অষ্টম শ্রেণীতে Behavioural Cognitive Outcomes এর 10-টি Identified Condition বা Indicator আছে। যার মাধ্যমে ছাত্রছাত্রীদের এই Evaluation হবে। Evaluation এর Progress মার্কশিটের 1st Formative Phase (F1A, F1B, F1C), 2nd Formative Phase (F2A, F2B, F22C) এবং 3rd Formative Phase (F3A, F3B, F3C) অনুযায়ী Grade লিপিবদ্ধ করতে হবে। এই 10-টি Identified Condition বা Indicator হলো-

1. Self Awareness (আত্মসচেতনতা)

   2. Communication Skill (যোগাযোগের দক্ষতা)

   3. Collaborative Thinking / Classification (সমবেত চিন্তন / শ্রেণিবদ্ধকরণ)

   4. Experiential Learning Skill (অভিজ্ঞতালব্ধ শিখন দক্ষতা)

   5. Critical Thinking (গহীন চিন্তন)

   6. Computational / Analytical Thinking (গণন / বিশ্লেষণমূলক চিন্তন)

   7. Problem Solving Ability /Drawing Effective Conclusion (সমস্যা সমাধানের সামর্থ্য / সার্থক উপসংহার নির্মাণ)

   8. Decision Making Skills (সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণের দক্ষতা)

   9. Creative Presentation Skill (সৃজনশীল উপস্থাপনের দক্ষতা)

   10. Aesthetic Appreciation (নান্দনিক বোধগম্যতা)

মার্কশিটে গ্রেড বসানোর সময় ক, খ, গ, ঘ কিংবা A, B, C, D বসাতে হবে।
