On duty for Higher Secondary Examination

Council of Higher Secondary Education is announced the number of maximum permissible days for which On duty may be allowed to the Teachers for performing Higher Secondary Examination related work, details of the number of maximum On duty are 23 days for Head Examiner (Theory Subject), 06 days for Examiner (Theory), 12 days for Scrutineers, 14 days for DAC Members and 11 days for Council Nominees, download PDF

Notification regarding Sanction of Leave

 

All Heads of Higher Secondary Institutions are being requested not to sanction any leave to teachers and non-teaching staff of their Institution on the dates of Higher Secondary  Examination 2020 and class XI Annual Examination 2020, except in extreme cases.

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education is pleased to announce the number of maximum permissible days for which “ON DUTY“ may be allowed to the teachers for performing Higher Secondary Examination 2020 related work. In this connection, all Head of Higher Secondary Institutions, Head Examiners, Examiners and Scrutineers are requested to note the following break up of “ON DUTY“.

1. Head Examiner (Theory Papers) -18 days

2. Practical Head Examiners at Camp- 9 days

Examiners (theory Papers) -5 days

3. Scrutineers -9 days

4. DAC Members-15 days

5. Council Nominees- 10 days

Suspension of Classes

 

All Head of Higher Secondary Institution are requested to note the following points/ regulations in regard to Higher Secondary Examination, 2020

1. All other classes will be suspended for the days of examination for those Institutions where both Higher Secondary Examination and Class XI Annual Examination will be held.

2. The school authority will decideto suspend the classes for the entire dayor for the 2nd half only on the basis of the situation at those Institutions where only the Class XI Annual Examination will be held in the 2nd. half of the school hour.

3. The schools which have been ordered to spare their teachers for invigilation and other functions in other Examination centers should try to continue normal classes with other teachers, if possible.

In this connection, all Head of Higher Secondary  Institution, Head Examiners, Examiners and Scrutineers are requested to note the following break up on On duty.

(a) Meeting with West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education   : 1 day
(b) Receiving of written answer Script : 1 day
(c) Meeting with examiners and distribution of answer script among examiners : 1 day
(d) Receiving of answer script from examiners : 2 days (for 2 installments)
(e) Scrutiny work : 4 days (for 2 installments)
(f) Preparation for dispatch of marks foils : 2 days (for 2 installments)
(g) Submission of marks to the Higher Secondary Council : 2 days (for 2 installments)
(h) Lifting of answer scripts from the residence of Head Examiners : 1 day
(i) PPS/PPR work : 4 days

2.A. Practical Head Examiner : 9 days 

 

(a) Meeting with West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education  : 1 day
(b) Receiving of written answer Script : 1 day

(c) Scrutiny work : 4 days
(d) Preparation for dispatch of marks foils : 1 day
(e) Submission of marks to the Higher Secondary Council : 1 day

3. Scrutineers : 9 days  

(a) For Theory Papers : 3 days for Scrutiny work

(b) For Practical Papers : 4 days for Scrutiny work
(c) PPS/PPR work : 2 days

4. DAC Members : 15 days
