Bonus

The amount of Adhoc Bonus granted to Govt. employee, is calculated as the monthly average of emoluments received through out the current financial year subject to the ceiling limit.

 

Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Government Employees, 2025-26

State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 46,000/- per month as on 31.03.2026 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus for the accounting year 2025-2026 at the rate of Rs.v7,400/- per head.

 

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Government Employees, 2022-23

  Governor is pleased to decide that the State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 39,000/- per month as on 31.03.2023 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus for the accounting year 2022-2023 at the rate of Rs. 5,300/- per head.

• Payment of Bonus should be completed by 23.09.2022

  All payments of bonus should be completed by 23.09.2022 and in respect of Muslim employees/ workers before Id-Ul-Fitre of 2022.

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Government Employees, 2021-22

  Governor is pleased to decide that the State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 37,000/- per month as on 31.03.2022 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus for the accounting year 2021-2022 at the rate of Rs. 4,800/- per head.

• Bonus/ Ex-Gratia Grant to Employees of Public Undertakings, 2021-2022

  Employees of the Undertakings/ Statutory Bodies may also be granted an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4,800/- per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31.03.2022 exceeded Rs. 10,000/- p.m. but did not exceed revised emoluments of Rs. 37,000/- p.m.

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to the Contractual IT Personnel, 2020-21

  Any contractual employee having rendered at least six months service during the year after being brought under the purview of Notification No. 192-IT dated 16.10.2020 shall be eligible for Ad-hoc Bonus for the year 2020-2021.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to Employees of State-Aided University, 2020-21

  Grant of Ad-hoc bonus to the regular employees of the State-aided Universities/ State Aided Non-Government Educational Institutions and other sponsored/aided organizations as well as whole time approved employees of the Hostel/ Mess attached to the Non-Govt. Educational Institutions and other sponsored/ aided organizations/ Employees of Statutory bodies/ Local bodies including approved staff of Day Students’…

• Bonus/ Ex-Gratia Grant to Employees of Public Undertakings, 2020-2021

  Employees of the Public Undertakings who are not eligible to get Bonus/ Ex-gratia on account of their revised emoluments having been exceeded Rs. 10,000/- p.m. as on 31.03.2021 may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4500/- per head.

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Government Employees, 2020-21

  State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 36,000/- per month as on 31st March, 2021, will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus for the accounting year 2020-2021 at the rate of Rs. 4,500/- per head.

• Bonus to Employees of Educational Institutions, 2020

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to the employees of State-Aided Non-Govt. Educational Institutions and other Sponsored/ Aided Organization for the year 2019-2020.

• Bonus/ Ex-Gratia Grant to Employees of Public UT, 2019-2020

  The employees of the Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4200/- per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31.03.2020 did not exceed Rs. 34250/- p.m.

   

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Government Employees, 2019-2020

  State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 34250/- per month as on 31.03.2020 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus for the accounting year 2019-2020 at the rate of Rs. 4,200/- per head.

• Bonus to Employees of Educational Institutions, 2019

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to the employees of State-Aided Non-Govt. Educational Institutions and other Sponsored/ Aided Organization for the year 2018-2019.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to Employees of State-Aided University, 2018-19

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus for the year 2018-19 to the employees of the State-Aided Universities under the administrative control of this Department and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.

• Bonus/ Ex-Gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2018-19

  The employees of the Public Undertakings/ Statutory Bodies may be granted an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4,000/-per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31st March, 2019 exceeded Rs. 10,000/- per month but did not exceed Rs. 30,000/- per month.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to State Govt. Employees for 2018-19

  State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 30,000/- per month as on 31st March, 2019 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus for the accounting year 2018-2019 @ Rs. 4,000/- per head.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to Employees of State-Aided University, 2017-18

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus for the year 2017-18 to the employees of State-Aided Universities under administrative control of Higher Education Department and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.

• Bonus to Employees of Educational Institutions, 2018

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to the employees of State-Aided Non-Govt. Educational Institutions and other Sponsored/ Aided Organization for the year 2017-2018.

• Bonus/ Ex-Gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2017-18

  An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,800/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 28,000/- per month.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to State Govt. Employees for 2017-18

  State Govt employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 28,000/- per month will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 3,800/- per head.

• Appeal to Employers for Payment of Bonus/ Ex-Gratia

  Government expects that the employers in the unorganized sectors shall also pay bonus/ex-gratia to their workers before commencement of Durga Puja, 2017.

   

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to PTTs and CWTTs for the year 2016-17

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to the Govt. approved Part time Teachers and Contractual Whole Time Teachers of the Govt./ Govt.-aided Colleges for the year 2016-17.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to Employees of State-Aided University, 2016-17

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus for the year 2016-17 to the employees of the State-Aided Universities and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.

• Bonus to Employees of Educational Institutions, 2017

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to the employees of State-Aided Non-Govt. Educational Institutions and other Sponsored/ Aided Organization for the year 2016-2017.

• Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2016-17

  An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,600/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 26,000/- per month.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to State Govt. Employees for 2016-17

  State Govt employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 26,000/- per month will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 3,600/- per head.

• Bonus, Festival Advance, Interim Relief in HRMS

  All Bonus and Festival Advance bills may be prepared and submitted mandatorily through HRMS system only whenever the applicability of payment will arise.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to Employees of State-Aided University, 2015-16

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus for the year 2015-16 to the employees of State-Aided Universities under administrative control of Higher Education Deptt. and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to the employees of State-Aided Non-Govt. Educational Institutions and other Sponsored/ Aided Organization for the year 2015-2016.

• Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2015-16

  An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,500/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 25,000/- per month.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to State Govt. Employees for 2015-16

  State Govt employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 25,000/- per month will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 3,400/- per head.

   

• Grant of Adhoc Bonus to PTTs and CWTTs (General) for 2014-15

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to the Govt. approved Part time Teachers and Contractual Whole Time Teachers of the Govt. General Degree Colleges, Govt.-aided Colleges for the year 2014-15.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to Employees of State-Aided University, 2014-15

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus for the year 2014-15 to the employees of the State-Aided Universities under the administrative control of this Department including the University BT & Evening College, Coochbehar and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.

• Bonus to Employees of Educational Institution, 2015

  All whole-time approved teaching and non-teaching staff whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 24000/- per month will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 3200/- per head.

• Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2014-15

  Employees of Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,200/- per head provided their emoluments did not exceed Rs. 24,000/- per month.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to State Govt. Employees for 2014-15

  State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 24,000/- per month as on 31.03.2015 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 3,200/- per head.

• Grant of Adhoc Bonus to PTTs and CWTTs (NBU) for 2013-14

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to Part-time Teachers (PTTs) and Contractual Whole Time Teachers (CWTTs) of University BT & Evening College, Cooch Behar and Raiganj College of North Bengal University for 2013-14.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to Employees of State-Aided University, 2013-14

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to the employees of the State- Aided Universities under the administrative control of Higher Education Department and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.

• Ad-hoc Bonus to Contractual Employees under Health, 2013-14

  Contractual employees engaged in various health programme under West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti will be eligible for drawing ad-hoc bonus maximum upto Rs. 3,000/-

   

• Bonus to Employees of Educational Institution, 2014

  All whole-time approved teaching and non-teaching staff whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22000/- per month will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 3000/- per head.

• Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2013-14

  Employees of Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,000/- per head provided their revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22,000/- per month.

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Govt. Employees for 2013-14

  State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22,000/- per month as on 31.03.2014 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 3,000/- per head.

  Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus for the year 2012-13 to the employees of the State- Aided Universities under the administrative control of Higher Education Deptt. and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.

  All whole-time approved teaching and non-teaching staff whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22000/- per month will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 2600/- per head.

• Bonus/ Ex-gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2012-13

  Employees of Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,600/- per head provided their revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22,000/- per month.

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Govt. Employees for 2012-13

  State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22,000/- per month as on 31.03.2013 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 2,600/- per head.

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Govt. Employees for 2011-12

  State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22,000/- per month as on 31.03.2012 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 2,500/- per head.

  Employees of Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,500/- per head provided their revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 22,000/- per month.

• Grant of Ad-hoc Bonus to State Govt. Employees for 2010-11

  State Government employees whose revised emoluments did not exceed Rs. 20,000/- per month as on 31.03.2011 will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus at the rate of Rs. 2,100/- per head.
