English Summary:
The story is about a young boy named Swaminathan who is unwilling to go to school on a Monday morning. He makes up a false excuse of having a headache. While his mother generously suggests he can stay at home, his strict father forces him to dress up and go to school. To avoid going late, Swami invents lies about his teacher, Samuel, claiming he is very angry and scolds latecomers. Unexpectedly, his father writes a long letter of complaint to the headmaster regarding Samuel and sends Swami to deliver it.

On his way to school, Swami feels guilty and confused because he knows Samuel is actually a friendly man. At school, Swami tries to provoke Samuel so that the allegations in the letter are justified, but Samuel behaves very gently that day. At the end of the day, when Swami goes to deliver the letter, he finds out that the headmaster is on a week’s leave. He returns home with the letter. His father snatches the letter away, tears it up, and tells Swami that he deserves his teacher Samuel.

গল্পটি স্বামীনাথন নামের একটি ছোট ছেলেকে নিয়ে, যে সোমবার সকালে স্কুলে যেতে একেবারেই অনিচ্ছুক। সে স্কুলে না যাওয়ার জন্য মাথা ব্যথার মিথ্যা অজুহাত দেয়। তার মা তাকে বাড়িতে থাকার অনুমতি দিলেও তার কঠোর বাবা তাকে তৈরি হয়ে স্কুলে যেতে বাধ্য করেন। দেরি করে স্কুলে যাওয়ার হাত থেকে বাঁচতে স্বামী তার শিক্ষক স্যামুয়েল সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা গল্প বানায় এবং বলে যে তিনি খুব রাগী এবং দেরি করে আসা ছাত্রদের বকাবকি করেন। কিন্তু অপ্রত্যাশিতভাবে, তার বাবা প্রধান শিক্ষকের কাছে স্যামুয়েলের নামে অভিযোগ জানিয়ে একটি দীর্ঘ চিঠি লেখেন এবং স্বামীকে সেটি দিতে বলেন।
