| The SED (School Education Department), West Bengal stated Summer Projects in all schools from 2023 for classes V to XII. This year it is designed for all students from class I to XII. The projects may be selected according to the interests, available resources and level of students keeping in mind the school syllabus so that students get a more hands-on approach to concepts and there is knowledge deepening. |
| This year, classes I to IV have also been included under this intervention. Additionally, a new component is added for classes IX -XII, social and community services, voluntary in nature under the guidance of parents and guardians. |

| In reference to above, it has come to the notice that the School Education Department, West Bengal (SED) started Summer Projects in all school from 2023 for classes V to XII. This year it is designed for all students from class I to XII. The projects may be selected according to the interests, available resources and level of students keeping in mind the school syllabus so that students get a more hands-on approach to concepts and there is knowledge deepening. |
| This year, classes I to IV have also been included under this intervention. Additionally, a new component is added for classes IX-XII, social and community services, voluntary in nature under the guidance of parents and guardians. |
| In this regard, enclosed please find the guidelines along with programme schedule, to take necessary steps on this issue for the successful implementation of this initiative for above mentioned subject. |

| Pertaining to rescheduling of Summer Vacation in consonance with phase wise |
| General Election to 18th Lok Sabha 2024 in West Bengal |
| In exercise of powers conferred under Section 20(2) of the West Bengal Primary Education Act 1973, I am directed by the President, WBBPE to notify for information to all concerned that all Government Aided/ Government Sponsored / Junior Basic Primary Schools under the supervision and control of WBBPE will remain closed in terms of the following schedules (Since many of the Primary Schools will be converted to Polling Stations /Booths between 19th April 2024 to 1st June 2024 for completion of General Election to 18th Lok Sabha 2024 in seven segregated phases ) |
| (1) 16th April 2024 (Tuesday) to 20th April 2024 (Saturday) only in the district of Cooch Behar, Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri going for election in Phase-I to be held on 19th April 2024. |
| (2) 24th April 2024 (Wednesday) to 27th April 2024 (Saturday) only in the district of Darjeeling, Kalimpang, Uttar Dinajpur and Dakshin Dinajpur going for election in Phase-II to be held on 26th April 2024. |
| (3) The summer holidays stand revised and shall now be from 6th May 2024 (Monday) to 2nd June 2024 (Sunday). |

| এসইডি (স্কুল এডুকেশন ডিপার্টমেন্ট), পশ্চিমবঙ্গ 5 থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির জন্য 2023 সাল থেকে সমস্ত স্কুলে গ্রীষ্মকালীন প্রকল্পের কথা জানিয়েছে। এই বছর এটি প্রথম থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির সমস্ত ছাত্রদের জন্য ডিজাইন করা হয়েছে। প্রকল্পগুলি স্কুলের পাঠ্যসূচির কথা মাথায় রেখে শিক্ষার্থীদের আগ্রহ, উপলব্ধ সংস্থান এবং স্তর অনুসারে নির্বাচন করা যেতে পারে যাতে শিক্ষার্থীরা ধারণার প্রতি আরও বেশি হাতের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি পায় এবং জ্ঞান আরও গভীর হয় । |

| পশ্চিমবঙ্গ প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা আইন 1973-এর ধারা 20(2) এর অধীনে প্রদত্ত ক্ষমতা প্রয়োগের জন্য, আমাকে রাষ্ট্রপতি, WBBPE-এর দ্বারা নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে যে সমস্ত সরকারী সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত/সরকারি স্পনসরড/জুনিয়র বেসিক প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় তত্ত্বাবধানে রয়েছে। এবং WBBPE-এর নিয়ন্ত্রণ নিম্নলিখিত সময়সূচীর পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে বন্ধ থাকবে (যেহেতু 19 এপ্রিল 2024 থেকে 1লা জুন 2024 এর মধ্যে অনেক প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়কে ভোট কেন্দ্র/বুথে রূপান্তরিত করা হবে যাতে সাতটি বিচ্ছিন্ন পর্যায়ে 18 তম লোকসভা 2024-এর সাধারণ নির্বাচন সম্পন্ন হয় ) |
| (1) 16ই এপ্রিল 2024 (মঙ্গলবার) থেকে 20শে এপ্রিল 2024 (শনিবার) শুধুমাত্র কোচবিহার, আলিপুরদুয়ার এবং জলপাইগুড়ি জেলায় 19 এপ্রিল 2024-এ অনুষ্ঠিতব্য পর্যায়-1-এর নির্বাচনের জন্য যাচ্ছে। |
| (2) 24 এপ্রিল 2024 (বুধবার) থেকে 27 এপ্রিল 2024 (শনিবার) শুধুমাত্র দার্জিলিং, কালিম্পাং, উত্তর দিনাজপুর এবং দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলায় 26শে এপ্রিল 2024-এ অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাওয়া ফেজ-2-এর নির্বাচনের জন্য যাচ্ছে। |
