MALDA 16th JUNE : Wide areas of ( a ) District experienced a severe flood on ( ) . The flood was caused by a heavy rainfall for the last seven days . Rivers were over flown by the heavy downpour . The people of the flood hit areas were in extremely distress situation and in huge damage to life and property . As a result numerous trees were uprooted . At least 1lakh people were effected badly and atleast about 20 thousands of houses were partly damaged and atleast hundred of houses were completely destroyed . The flood affected people took shelter at a high altitude areas . Communication services have been disrupted leaving a number of people . Stranded , rescue and relief operation were being undertaken on a war footing . Foods , clothes , drinking water , doctors with medical team and other necessary things have been sent to the effected areas . The Chief Minister has reviwed the situation and assured the effected people of all help . About Army Jawans have reached in the effected areas for relief operation .

MALDA 19th FEB : – At least ———- people died and more than people including woman and children were seriously injured in a devastating fire in ( জায়গা যেখানে আগুন লাগবে in বড়ো ) ( such as a Kaliachak in the Malda ) today in the ( evening / morning ) . The fire reportedly begun at about ( 2 ) due to ( কারণ ) . It spread rapidly through out the ( যেখানে আগুন লেগেছে ) . Many of the victims died after jumping from roof following the fire while other suffered from suffocation . The injured persons were taken to the ( nearest hospital / District hospital ) for necessary medical treatment . They were discharged after the first aid . The people informed the police . They already came to the spot and started rescue operation . The fire brigade were inform and before long they came to the spot ( 1 ) . fire brigades brought the fire undercontrol after hours of continuous efforts . It was claimed that the property worth about ——– and some valuable papers were burned to ashes . A shadow of sadness looms large over the area . The police looking into the case .
( The Chief Minister / The Prime Minister / The Home Minister ) has expressed grief all over the tragic acciedent and annouced ex – gratia payment of 1lakh is next to the kin for those killed and 50thousand for those seriously injured .
- A DEVASTATING FIRE AT DELHI

Malda 19th Feb , : At least 60 people died and more than 160 people including woman and children were seriously injured in a devastating fire in a Cinema Hall in Delhi today in the morning . The fire reportedly begun at about 4:00 P.M. due to transformer caught fire . It spread rapidly through out the full Cinema Hall . Many of victims died after jumping from the roof following the fire while other suffered from the suffocation . The injured persons were taken to the AIIMS Hospital for necessary medical treatment . They were discharged after the first – aid . The people informed the local police . They already came to the spot and started the rescue operation . The fire brigade were in from and before long they came to the spot . 7 fire brigades brought the fire undercontrol after 2-3 hours of continuous efforts . It was claimed that the property worth about 50lakh and some valuable paper were burned to ashes . A shadow of sadness looms large over the area . The police investagating the case .

Malda , 23rd Dec : A Daring robbery was commited in Kolkata on 23rd December at Borrabazar in the branch of United Bank of India . According to the manager of the bank , Four Armed men raided the bank by snatching the riffle from the guardon duty at the gate . They broke the lockers and look away valuable jewellery and cash worth thirty lakh Rupess None of the staff were injured per the statement of the police . After the accident the manager of the bank phoned to the police . And the police came to the spot . Police cordoned of entire area forensic expert visited the spot and collected samples of broken the lockers . There were about 50people in the bank and they all were afraid . All the miscreated were wearing masks .

A Fatal Road Accident Kills Five
Bongaon, August 10, 2022: Five persons including the auto driver and two children were killed in a lethal road accident yesterday at Bata More near around 5 a.m. in the morning. The accident occurred when a reserved auto was coming from BSF Camp and made head to head hit with a loaded truck coming from the opposite direction. There were 9 passengers in the auto of which 5 including the driver as well two children were died in the spot. The rest were heavily injured. They were disposaled to the local hospital by the the help of local people. Their situation is still critical now. The irritated mob blocked the road for two hours. The police came and made the situation undercontroll. Govt. declared 5 lakh for each dead as well as 2 lakh for the each wounded person.

Celebration of Kanyashree Divas
Barasat, August 14: Our honorable Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched the Kanyashree Project for the allround development of the girl child as well as to prevent their premature marriage. The Kanyashree Project has two parts- an annual scholarship(500- from class VIII-XII)and a one time payment (25000) after being adult i.e. 18 years old. The families within an annual income of Rs. 1.20 lakh are eligible for taking the scheme. August 14th is celebrated as The Kanyashree Divas all over the state. Our school SBM has celebrated the day with pomp, grandeur and gaity. Our Headmaster inaugurated the programme. He inspired all the girls for study hard. The famous poet Srijato and writier Binod Ghisal were aslo present as our special guests. They also inspired us through there speech. They donated some books for our library. The Bank manager of SBI came there and opened some bank accounts for the scheme. Then some girls performed Rabindra Sangeet and Rabindr Nritto on the stage. A drama was also performed. Our school arranged lunch for all. Our Headmaster declared some special annual prizes and the programme came to an end.
