Various Scholarship Schemes for students of West Bengal e.g. Pre-matric, Post-matric, Merit-cum-Means, Central Sector Scheme, Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, Hindi Scholarship etc.
National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Examination, 2022 (for the student studying in class VIII) will be held at different centres of West Bengal on 18.12.2022.
The students are advised to visit the website (https://scholarships.gov.in) for registration and check details regarding the scheme. The registration and application process will be closed on 31.10.2022.
National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Examination 2021 (for the student studying in class VIII in 2021) will be held at different centres of West Bengal on 20.02.2022 instead of 16.01.2022.
Last date of submission of application forms in connection with State Level National Talent Search Examination, 2021-22 and National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Examination, 2021 is extended up to 07.12.2021.
For all the eligible students of classes, score card/ mark sheet should be issued by the concerned Head of the Institution. For class X students of Academic year 2021 (score card of class IX, 2020) may be issued to them respectively.
All the girl-students enrolled in the regular courses of post-graduation, whether single or married, may apply for financial assistance for pursuing post graduate studies under “K-3 component” of the Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme, scoring at least 45% marks in Graduation.
State Government has decided to set up the “Aikyashree” – West Bengal State Scholarships for Minority Students with a view to providing them more avenues for socio-economic and educational mobility by extending financial support and encouragement to the meritorious students.
Completed application forms will be received upto 31st December, 2020 between 12 noon and 4 p.m. on all working days in the above office. Forms received after 31.12.2020 will be summarily rejected.
State Level National Talent Search Examination, 2021 (For the students studying in class X) Instructions to the Applicants Date of Examination: 17.01.2021 Date of submission of Online Application: From- 05.11.2020 To- 01.12.2020.
Students of class VIII who secured 55% and above marks in the final examination of class VII are eligible to appear in the Centrally Sponsored NMMS Examination, 2020 for class VIII (5% relaxation to SC, ST, Disabled candidates).

· Sikshasree Scholarship Scheme
Each of the SC students of Class V to VII will get a grant of Rs. 750/- per annum and those of Class VIII will get a grant of Rs. 800/- per annum, while students belonging to ST and studying from Class V to VIII will get a grant of Rs. 800/- per annum.
· Swami Vivekananda Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship, 2017
Students of Post-Madhyamik levels and onwards in regular courses, and whose annual family income is not more than Rs. 2,50,000/-, may apply for this scholarship.
· Hindi Scholarship Scheme, 2017-18
The Student should belong to a non-Hindi speaking State and be ordinarily residing in West Bengal. His /Her mother-tongue should not be Hindi. Last date: 30.12.2017.
· Swami Vivekananda MCM Scholarship to Kanyashree Girls
Financial assistance to Kanyashree girls under Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum means Scholarship Scheme in order to encourage & incentivize them for pursuing Post Graduate studies.
· Scheme for non-NET Fellowship to Full-Time M.Phil/ Ph.D Scholars
Scheme for providing financial assistance to full-time non-NET research scholars pursuing M.Phil. or Ph.D. in the State-funded Higher Education Institutions in West Bengal.
· Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship, 2016 – Renewal

· Hindi Scholarship Scheme, 2016-17
Candidates who belong to non-Hindi speaking States but have been residing for any purpose in a Hindi speaking State will not be eligible for the Scholarship.
· Central Sector Scholarship Scheme, 2016
The students who have passed H.S. Exam in 2015 and 2016 may apply for Renewal and Fresh Scholarship under Central Sector Scholarship through https://scholarships.gov.in/.
· Aadhaar is Mandatory for Scholarships wef 2016-17
From 2016-17 onwards, Aadhaar has been made mandatory for all Govt subsidies/ scholarships which would be disbursed directly into the beneficiary’s bank account seeded.

Maulana Azad Education Foundation provides scholarship for Meritorious Girl students belonging to Minorities. Online and offline application can be made from 01.07.2015 to 30.09.2015.
· Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship, 2015
H.S. passed candidates of 2015 are advised to visit National E-Scholarship Portal ) for online application of Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship, 2015.
