Sub: Adoption of “Taruner Swapna” by Netaji Subhas Chadra Bose as non-evaluative Supplementary reading books in the curriculum of Class X

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is in consonance with letter no. 941(2)-SED-11099/24/2024, dated 31.7.24 from Dept. of SED, Secondary Branch, Govt. of W.B. and in appreciation of the matter therein, it is hereby notified for all concerned that the President, Ad-Hoc Committee, WBBSE has been pleased to order adoption in the curriculum of Class X and introduction of “Taruner Swapna” by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as non-evaluative supplementary reader for class X students in all Secondary schools from the academic year 2025. It is further informed that WBBSE shall communicate with SED, Secondary Branch, Govt. of West Bengal for issuing appropriate orders at the earliest so that said book can be made available to students in due time.
