Madam/Sir,
You are aware that the competent authority has decided to observe the Students’
Week throughout the State from 02.01.2024 to 08.01.2024. The guideline of activities
and programmes to be followed week long, by the Schools, Colleges, Educational
Institutions, Universities and District HQ is attached herewith for your ready reference.
You are requested to kindly take all necessary initiatives so that the weeklong programmes may be observed with due prominence at all the levels.
This is issued with the approval of competent authority of School Education
Department.

থেকে রাজ্য জুড়ে যথাযথভাবে ছাত্র সপ্তাহ পালন করা হবে
02.01.2024 থেকে 08.02.2023 পর্যন্ত, স্কুল শিক্ষা দফতরের পরিকল্পনা অনুযায়ী৷ অনুষ্ঠানটি প্রতিটি স্কুল, এসএসকে, এমএসকে, কলেজ/শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পর্যায়ে পালিত হবে। একইভাবে জেলা পর্যায়েও অনুষ্ঠান হবে। সপ্তাহটি রাজ্য সরকার কর্তৃক বাস্তবায়িত বিভিন্ন উপকারী স্কিম, স্টুডেন্ট ক্রেডিট কার্ড স্কিম, স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ মেরিট কাম মিনস স্কলারশিপ, আকাশশ্রী, প্রি এবং পোস্ট মেট্রিক স্কলারশিপ, পাঠ্য বই বিতরণ এবং শুভেচ্ছার সুবিধাভোগীদের সুবিধার্থে এবং সংগঠিত করার বিষয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের সচেতনতার উপর দৃষ্টি নিবদ্ধ করবে। HCM এর বার্টা, SED দ্বারা অনুমোদিত বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রম/নীতির সূচনা এবং নীচে উল্লিখিত অন্যান্য সাংস্কৃতিক কার্যক্রম।
কমিটি গঠন:
সপ্তাহব্যাপী অনুষ্ঠানটি যথাযথভাবে উদযাপন করার জন্য, জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট উদ্যোগের নেতৃত্ব দেবেন এবং সপ্তাহব্যাপী কর্মসূচির সুষ্ঠু ও সফল বাস্তবায়ন নিশ্চিত করতে প্রতিটি স্টেক হোল্ডারকে নিযুক্ত করবেন। অতিরিক্ত জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট (শিক্ষা), সমস্ত জেলা ও উপ-জেলা পর্যায়ের শিক্ষা অফিসাররা এর সাফল্য নিশ্চিত করতে কোন কসরত রাখবেন না।
পরীক্ষামূলক সময়সূচী :স্কুল/এসএসকে/এমএসকে/কলেজ/শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের পরিচ্ছন্নতা ও স্যানিটেশন/30.12.2023 এর মধ্যে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলি করা হবে৷স্কুল, কলেজ ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পর্যায়ে সপ্তাহব্যাপী এই কর্মসূচি অনুষ্ঠিত হবে02.01.2024 থেকে 08.01.2024 পর্যন্ত। প্রোগ্রামটি অস্থায়ীভাবে 2 ঘন্টা প্রতিটি হবেদিন (বিশেষত সকাল 11.00 টা থেকে দুপুর 1.00 টা পর্যন্ত বা কর্তৃপক্ষের সুবিধা অনুযায়ীশিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান)। স্কুল পর্যায়ে, প্রথম দিনে, প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রধান (হল) পরিচালনা করতে পারেনখোলা বাতাসে বা অ্যাসেম্বলি হলে সমাবেশ। দ্য হোল তাদের নতুন ক্লাসে সফলভাবে স্নাতক হওয়ার জন্য ছাত্রদের তার স্বীকৃতি এবং শুভেচ্ছা জানাবে। সে/ তিনি সাধারণভাবে শিক্ষার্থীদের স্কুলের ঐতিহ্য এবং সামনে সপ্তাহব্যাপী উদযাপন এবং SED-এর নতুন নীতির প্রবর্তন সম্পর্কেও অবহিত করবেন। এই সমাবেশে, হোলও কোন উল্লেখযোগ্য বিষয় তুলে ধরার সুযোগ নেবেস্কুলে বা তার বাইরে ছাত্রদের কৃতিত্ব। নিজ নিজ ক্লাসে, শিক্ষকরা সপ্তাহব্যাপী অস্থায়ী সময়সূচী প্রদান করবেনউদযাপন এবং ক্লাস নির্দিষ্ট নতুন কার্যক্রম যা হতে হবে প্রবর্তনবাস্তবায়িত তিনি/তিনি ব্যক্তিগত রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের গুরুত্বও বলবেনস্বাস্থ্যবিধি, স্যানিটাইজেশন, হাত ধোয়া। স্কুলের পাঠ্য বই সহ মাননীয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর শুভেচ্ছ বার্তা এবংশিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে খাতা বিতরণ করা হবে। সপ্তাহব্যাপী সময়সূচী নিয়ে আলোচনা করে পেটিএম 02.01.2024 তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত হবেস্টুডেন্টস উইক উদযাপন এবং বিশেষ করে SED-এর নতুন নীতির প্রবর্তন। সপ্তাহের অন্যান্য দিনে, একটি ইন্টারেক্টিভ অধিবেশন হতে পারে, আন্তঃস্কুল ইভেন্ট হতে পারেএবং ছাত্র ও শিক্ষকদের সাংস্কৃতিক কর্মকান্ড। নিচে দেওয়া বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রমHOI এবং মনোনীত নোডাল শিক্ষক দ্বারা সপ্তাহব্যাপী পরিকল্পনা করা হতে পারেছাত্র সপ্তাহ পালনের জন্য। প্রতিদিন উভয়ের জাতীয় সঙ্গীত গেয়ে অনুষ্ঠানের সমাপ্তি হতে পারেছাত্র এবং শিক্ষক. কলেজ / বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্তরে, নীচে তালিকাভুক্ত অনুরূপ প্রোগ্রাম হিসাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হবেউক্ত কলেজ/বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়/শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের যথাযথ কর্তৃপক্ষ দ্বারা নির্ধারিত।

জেলা পর্যায়:জেলা পর্যায়ে কর্মসূচী পুরো সপ্তাহের জন্য নিচে উল্লিখিত কার্যক্রমের পরিকল্পনা করতে পারে। সপ্তাহে গৃহীত ক্রিয়াকলাপগুলির মধ্যে নিম্নলিখিতগুলি অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকতে পারে: প্রভাত ফেরির আয়োজনSED দ্বারা বাস্তবায়িত নতুন কার্যক্রম সম্পর্কে প্রচার/সচেতনতাস্কুল পর্যায়েএর অফিসে স্টুডেন্ট ক্রেডিট কার্ডের বিষয়ে সচেতনতা ডেস্ক স্থাপন করাবিডিও/এসডিও/ডিএম এবং স্থানীয় সংস্থাআবৃত্তি, পাঠ কার্যক্রমের মতো সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন,নাচ, নাটক, সঙ্গীত, একক অভিনয় কয়েকজন নির্বাচিত ছাত্র-শিক্ষকস্কুলবইমেলার আয়োজনবিজ্ঞান প্রদর্শনীর আয়োজনস্ট্রেস ম্যানেজমেন্ট ওয়ার্কশপ/সচেতনতা শিবিরের আয়োজনসপ্তাহের মধ্যে ছাত্র পর্যবেক্ষণ:ছাত্র সপ্তাহের হস্তক্ষেপ জেলা স্তরের কমিটিগুলির দ্বারা নিরীক্ষণ করা হবে এবং স্তরের স্কুল অনুসারে ডেটা রাজ্য দ্বারা ভাগ করা Google শীট ফর্ম্যাটে জমা দেওয়া হবে। DEO/ Dl দৈনিক ভিত্তিতে Google পত্রক আপডেট করার দায়িত্বে থাকবেন। তহবিল বিধান:স্কুল পর্যায়ে প্রোগ্রাম পরিচালনার জন্য, SSA তহবিলের স্কুল কম্পোজিট অনুদান প্রধান থেকে খরচ বহন করা যেতে পারে। প্রয়োজনে প্রতিটি জেলার সংশ্লিষ্ট এডিএম (শিক্ষা) এসএসএম রাজ্য অফিসে তহবিলের অনুরোধ করতে পারে।কলেজ এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্তরের উদযাপনের জন্য, তাদের শেষ পর্যন্ত উপলব্ধ তহবিল থেকে ব্যয় করতে হবে।

Guidelines for organising Students’ Week from 2nd to 8th January 2024
Students’ week would be observed in a befitting manner throughout the State from
02.01.2024 to 08.02.2023, as planned by the School Education Department. The programme would be celebrated in every School, SSK, MSK, College / Educational Institute and University level. Similarly, the programme shall also be held at District level. The week shall focus on awareness of the students regarding different beneficial schemes implemented by the State Government, facilitating and mobilizing beneficiaries of Student Credit Card scheme, Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means scholarship, Aikyashree, Pre and Post Metric Scholarship, distribution of Text Books & Subheccha Burta of HCM, initiation of different activities/ policies as approved by SED and other cultural activities as mentioned below.
- Committee formation:
To celebrate the week-long programme in a befitting manner, the District Magistrate shall lead the initiatives and engage each stake holders to ensure smooth and successful implementation of the week-long programme. Additional District Magistrate (Education), all district and sub district level education officers will leave no stone unturned to ensure its success.
- Tentative Schedule :
- Cleaning & sanitation of Schools/ SSK/MSK/ Colleges/ Educational Institutions/
Universities to be done by 30.12.2023. - This week-long programme at the School, College, and University level will be held
from 02.01.2024 to 08.01.2024. the programme will be tentatively for 2 hours each
day (preferably from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm or as per convenience of the authority of
the educational institution).
- At school level, on the first day, the Head of the Institution (Hol) may conduct the
assembly in open air or in the Assembly Hall. The Hol will extend his acknowledgment and best wishes to the students on successfully graduating to their new classes. She/
He shall also brief the students in general, about the heritage of the school, and of the week-long celebration ahead and the introduction of new policies of SED.
- In this assembly, the Hol will also take the opportunity to highlight any noteworthy
accomplishments of students either in the school or beyond.
- In respective classes, the teachers will deliver the tentative schedule of week-long
celebration and introduction of the class specific new activities which is to be
implemented. She/He shall also speak importance of maintenance of personal
hygiene, sanitization, hand washing.
- The Shubheccha Barta of Hon’ble Chief Minister along-with school Text Books and
khatas will be distributed among students.
- PTM shall be preferably held on 02.01.2024, discussing the week-long schedule of
Students’ Week celebration and specifically the introduction of new policies of SED.
- On the other days of the week, there may be an interactive session, intra school events
and cultural activities by the students and teachers. Different activities as given below
may be planned throughout the week by the HOI and the Nodal Teacher designated
for observation of Students’ week.
- Each day the programme may conclude with singing of the National Anthem by both
students and the Teachers.
- At College / University level, similar programme as enlisted below shall be held as
determined by the appropriate authority of the said College / University/ Educational Institute.

Elementary :
- Distribution of Subhecha Barta of HCM to the students
- Distribution of certificate/ marksheet for graduation ceremony
- Distribution of Text Books and Khatas to the guardians
- Distribution of Braille and Large print books to CWSN students who are
in need
- Meeting with the guardians and discussing with them regarding the
ongoing activities that are implemented in schools, methods of
enhancing reading habits of students, facilitating home based learning
etc. - Organising cleanliness drive in school
- Activities to be taken up under Clusters (horizontal and vertical) like:
o Reading, writing, Math, story-telling competitions
o Workshops for teachers
o Exposure visits
o Food festival
o TLM making by teachers
- Co-curricular activities like
o Poster making
o Planting saplings
o Debates/ elocution
o Nature studies
o Know your `para’
o STEM exhibitions
o Quiz competitions
- Display of students’ works and artefacts
- Sessions on Lifeskills Education
- Display of IEC materials (as determined by competent authority of the
State/ District) in the school premise - Door to door visit by the Para Teachers, Special Educators or SSK/ MSK
Teachers to the homes of age specific children in the locality as special enrolment drive

The week-long activities may focus on facilitating Students Credit Card camps, Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship camps, distribution of Text Books, HCM’s Greetings to students and the following activities:
- Distribution of Subhecha Barta of HCM to the students
- Distribution of certificate/ marksheet for graduation ceremony
- Distribution of Free Text Books and Khatas to the students
- Distribution of Braille Books and Large Print books to CWSN
- Display of IEC materials as determined by competent authority of the
State/ District
- Activities to be taken up under Clusters (horizontal and vertical) like:
o Reading, writing, Math, story-telling competitions
o Workshops for teachers and students
Exposure visits
o Food festival
o TLM making by teachers
- Co-curricular activities like
o Slogan/ Comics/ Poster making
o Planting saplings

- Organizing programmes like “Meet the Icon”, where renowned and
iconic persons of the locality may be invited to interact with students - Organizing awareness cum help desk for Student Credit Card, SVMCM,
Aikyashree, Pre and Post Metric Scholarship - Organising cleanliness drives in school
- Holding of Health Camps
- Sessions on Lifeskills Education
- Registration, Updation and Renewal of Kanyashree beneficiaries in
Kanyashree portal - House to house visit by the Shikha Bandhus for enrolment drive of
00SC.
- College and University Level:
Students’ week would be observed in all Govt. and Govt. Aided colleges / Universities / Educational Institutions including Technical/ Professional Institutions of the State, in line with the spirit of the programme specially focussing on the facilitation of Student Credit Card camps and other activities like:
- Conducting online seminar / workshop and dissemination of
information regarding Student Welfare schemes and other pertinent issues
- Organizing Student Credit Card awareness camp cum help desk
- Organizing awareness camp cum help desk for SVMCM, Aikyashree and
Post Metric Scholarship
- Organizing Health Check-up camps and psychological counselling
- Display of IEC materials as determined by competent authority of the
State/ District - Organizing drawing / poster competition
- Quiz Competition
- Cultural programmes like singing competition, recitation competition,
creative writing competition. - Organizing Career Counselling sessions
- Holding seminars on Digital Education or blend mode of education with
emphasis on students’ participation
Interaction with the guardians may be planned on 2nd or 3rd January, 2023.
- Interactive exposure visits by School students of Secondary/ Higher
secondary classes to different Colleges/ Universities ( concerned HOIs may plan in consultation with schools in their catchment areas)
- District Level:
The programme at District level may plan activities mentioned below for the whole week. The activities taken up during the week may include as follows:
- Organize Probhat Pheri
- Publicity/Awareness regarding the new activities implemented by SED
at school level - Setting up awareness desks on Student Credit Card at the offices of
BDOs / SDOs / DM and Local bodies - Organizing cultural programmes like recitation, reading activities,
dance, drama, music, solo act by students and teachers of few selected
schools. - Organizing Book Fair
- Organizing Science exhibitions
- Organizing Stress management workshops / awareness camp for
students during the week
- Monitoring:
The Students’ Week intervention will be monitored by the District level Committees and level school wise data will be submitted on a Google Sheet format shared by the State. The DEO/ Dl will be in-charge of updating the Google Sheet on a daily basis.
- Fund Provision:
For conducting the programme at school level, the expenditure may be borne out of School Composite Grant Head of SSA fund. Concerned ADM (Education) SSM of each district may place requisition of fund to the State office, if so needed.
For College and University level celebration, expenditure to be born out of available funds at their end.
