The State Government has raised the income ceiling for family pensions for mothers, fathers, and unmarried/widowed daughters beyond 25 years, following the recommendation of the 6th Pay Commission. The Governor has decided to raise the income ceiling to Rs. 9000/- per month, with other terms and conditions remaining unchanged.

Subject: Increasing the “dependent” income threshold for family pension purposes
The government has been considering raising the income ceiling for parents and their unmarried, widowed, or divorced daughter beyond the age of 25 for some time now, as a result of the revision of pay and allowances, pension, and family pension of State Government employees and pensioners, respectively, based on the recommendation of the Sixth Pay Commission.
2. The Governor has decided, with pleasure, to raise the Income Ceiling to Rs. 9000/- (Rupees nine thousand) per month in order to qualify for such a family pension after giving the matter some thought. This will go into effect right away on the day this order is issued. The remaining terms and conditions apply in this regard.

6 তম বেতন কমিশনের সুপারিশে যথাক্রমে রাজ্য সরকারী কর্মচারী এবং পেনশনভোগীদের বেতন-ভাতা এবং পেনশন/পরিবার পেনশন সংশোধনের ফলে, মা/বাবা এবং অবিবাহিত/বিধবা/তালাকপ্রাপ্ত কন্যার আয়ের সীমা 25-এর বেশি বাড়ানোর প্রশ্ন। বছরের পর বছর ধরে সরকারের বিবেচনাধীন ছিল।
2. বিষয়টি সতর্কতার সাথে বিবেচনা করার পর, গভর্নর এই ধরনের পারিবারিক পেনশনের এনটাইটেলমেন্টের জন্য আয়ের সীমা বাড়িয়ে Rs. 9000/- (রুপি নয় হাজার) শুধুমাত্র প্রতি মাসে। এই আদেশ জারি হওয়ার তারিখ থেকে এটি অবিলম্বে কার্যকর হবে। এই বিষয়ে অন্যান্য শর্তাবলী একই থাকবে।
