Fixation of Ceiling on Subscription in Provident Fund
Monthly PF subscription should strictly be regulated in such a manner so that the total sum of subscription in a financial year does not exceed the limit of Rs. 5 lakh.
Ceiling of Rs. 5 Lakh regarding Annual Subscription of GPF
In case the employees do not revise their contributions, the respective DDOs must regulate the subscription so that the threshold limit of Rs. 5 Lakh is not exceeded in a financial year.

Finance Department has decided to further extend the ambit of SBMS and include all the Bank Accounts (including those containing their own fund) of all the Parasatal bodies as stated above under the administrative control of the Government of West Bengal.
Modalities of Application, Sanction of Advance and Final Payment of Provident Fund through NGIPF Module
On receipt of the final payment authority from DPPG, WB, the PFD Admin shall disburse the final payments to the employees.
Procedure for Payment of Provident Fund Interest – Addendum
In case of final withdrawal of accumulations in the Provident fund, interest shall he payable thereon to the employee or his nominee or legal heirs, as the case may be, up to the end of the month preceding which the payment is made.

Implementation of “Online e-Service Book” in HRMS

State Government has constituted a Committee for revising the format of Service Book for the purpose of development of e-Service Book in IFMS-HRMS.

“e-Services for Employees” has been introduced iin HRMS module of IFMS. Following services are offered: Update personal information, Generate pay slips, GPF Contributions etc.
Suppression of Higher Qualification in Government Service
Written explanation from the erring employee would be obtained and if the reply is found satisfactory, the appointing authority may record such qualification in the service book.
Service Book – Opening, Writing, Verification
Service Book (Bangla)
Employee shall submit the duplicate service book every year for verification. After necessary entry the same will be returned to the employee. This copy may also be treated as original.
Change in Date of Birth in respect of Government Employees
Prayer for change in date of birth in respect of the Govt. Employees, will not be entertained, if the said prayer is not made in within the period of five years from the date of joining in the Government Service.
