Sub.: Amendment in standards of Authoritative Endorsements in the event of RIDF/WIF projects
According to winning standards under Country Framework Improvement Asset (RIDF)/Warehousing Foundation Asset (WIF), the Authoritative Divisions need to present the in fact reviewed gauges/DPRs of the Activities straightforwardly to NABARD. Sub.: Amendment in Administrative Approval Rules in respect of RIDF/WIF Schemes
As per norms prevailing under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF)/ Warehousing Infrastructure Fund (WIF), administrative departments are required to submit technically verified estimates/DPRs of projects directly to NABARD. Then, after approval of projects by NABARD, administrative approval and financial sanction have to be provided within one month from the date of approval.
2. Now, for expeditious implementation and execution of projects taken up under RIDF/WIF, in-principle approval may be given by the Finance Department and administrative sanction and financial approval may be given to all the projects approved by NABARD (Department within its budget allocation) Additional Chief Secretary/Principal By the Secretary/Secretary to the Acting Secretary of the Department concerned, with the concurrence of the Financial Adviser of the Department. Administrative departments may also release required funds subject to available budgetary provisions.
3. Hence, from 1st October, 2020, the system of sending proposals approved by NABARD to the Finance Department for administrative approval and financial sanction and release of funds has been discontinued.
4. It is issued in the interest of public service.
