The State Government has decided to observe Parshwanath’s Rathajatra which also falls on the 27th November 2023.
Governor is also pleased to notify that the offices under the Government of West Bengal with the exception of the offices of the Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata and Collector of the Stamp Revenue, Kolkata shall be closed on the days as specified.
Governor has been pleased to declare State Government Holiday on the 25th September, 2023 (Monday) for the State Government Offices, Local Bodies, Statutory Bodies, Boards, Corporations, Undertakings etc.
Every year 1st July is celebrated as Doctors’ Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Late Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, Ex-Chief Minister of West Bengal and a half day holiday for the offices under the State Government is notified.
